Dearborn STEP (Short Term Educational Placement), part of Schools for Children, is located in Newton, Mass. The program provides a comprehensive clinical, therapeutic assessment for students in Grades 5-12 for up to 40 school days. STEP provides high-quality stabilization for students who have had difficulty in their previous school setting. It is an example of our commitment to ensure that children with learning differences or other mental challenges are able to get the supports they need to be successful.
